Itching Leg After Knee Surgery

Un libro per sognare

Per chi sogna un'avventura in Giappone, ecco un libro che vi affascinerà : Autostop con Buddha Will of Ferguson, Feltrinelli Editore.
The cover is already very promising and I think it can be seen already in itself a review. A geisha is reflected in a shinkansen (high speed trains in Japan). The clash between tradition and modernity. If the cover could be misinterpreted, however, do think that this is another book about the contradictions inherent in Japan. None of this.

The book is in fact the story of the adventures of the author decided to hitchhike across from Cape Sata to Cape Soya islands Kyushu, Shikoku , Honshu and Hokkaido seguedo the front of the cherry blossom season in search of the true essence of Japan. The story focuses mainly on people the protagonist encounters during his journey. And this is precisely the theme of the book: the common people who constitute the real Japan. It should be noted as it Ferguson avoid big cities such as Tokyo and Osaka: places where modernity and the frenzy obscure the newspaper and the individual. All this, of course, seen through the eyes of a gaijin which often runs into gaffe that rip the smile of the player (such as grammatical language ninjin = Carrot instead of ningen = human). In short, a " must" for all travelers.
